LAURA'S PERSONAL WORK

No matter what's going on in my life, whenever I look through my camera or put pen to paper, I feel more grounded and present. It's like the rest of the world melts away for a time. And not to be overly dramatic, but I live for getting lost in the story of whatever I'm creating.

As a result, even when I'm not officially working, I'm usually playing around with a concept or creating something for the fun of it. It's a form of play for me and this is a space where I occasionally share some of those results.

a few of my EDITORIALS

A theme I really enjoy exploring through my personal editorials is how women see and imagine themselves; and the contrast that lies within those perceptions.

a few of my PERSONAL SHOOTS

In my personal time I adore turning my camera to the natural world and capturing everyday moments through a whimsical lens.

MY FINE ART PRINTS

This little print shop that could is one of my truest happy places and it is such a pleasure to create art that feels joyful to hang on your walls.

Every single limited-edition print is sparked from a sentimental place and a personal memory for me. My hope is that they stir a sense of nostalgia, whimsy and imagination in you and inspire you to also see magic wherever you go.

Take Paws: Whiskered Wisdom About Life & Love

This is a little 56-page book that I wrote, featuring the beautiful photography of the very talented Liz Bradley of Elizabeth & Jane Photography. We co-created this 2012.

Spoken from a canine perspective, Take Paws is a heartwarming read all about slowing down and appreciating the fleeting moments that make life a wonderful, ridiculous and unexpected adventure. The tone of the book, although powerful enough to inspire adults, is also simple enough to be enjoyed by little ones. We hope it brings a smile.
